Sounds like a lot to me too. A setup of ½ degree down thrust, ½ positive on
the wing, and 0 degrees on the stab will work on pretty much anything. The
Integral I flew last year had that force arrangement (not stock) and it was
the best flying plane I’ve ever had.

Anyone remember what the down thrust should be on a Focus II?

 

I’m setting one up for electric.  I installed the motor so the spinner back
plate matches the front of the cowl.  When I measured it the down thrust was
3 deg.

 

That sounded like a lot to me?
