Just get used to it Bob.  It's now business as usual post-911.  We get them here in the NYC Metropolitan area a few times every year.  Worse around election time of course.

Well, this will put a damper on practice.   All my flying sites are within the affected area. 

Is this something new, I don't recall seeing NOTAMs issued for model aircraft before. 

Good thing this is not a contest weekend.
