Yah that's why my wife quit using it to clean windows.
I wipe the bulk of the oil off before spraying on the windshield washer
fluid. I use paper towels and continue to wipe until it is dry, which seams
to remove all traces of soap film and oil. Last time I got a gallon it cost
about $2.
It just occurred to me that different brands of fuel having different oil
may not clean as easily. For what it's worth I'm using Byron castor /
synthetic blend.

I've been using Windex but I find it leaves a filmy residue after cleaning
the planes and still a lil slick too.
