Aha. I didn't realize that. No doubt it requires some kind of evil energy source to build windmills too. So in that case we're ALL destroying the planet no matter what we do. VBG

Hmmm, not so sure about that.  One thing we've discovered as a result of the Feds forcing large scale methanol production for autos is that a large amount of fossil fuel has to be burned to process the methanol production.  A lot of fresh water gets wasted as well.

Alcohol-based fuels (glow fuel) burn cleaner than gasoline (used to run your generator). Especially as far as NOx and CO are concerned. And you don't need to change the oil on a glow engine (you have to change the oil on your generator). So we (IC guys) are actually more ecologically responsible than you E-heads are. :)

Hey that's a sound thought. Heck for the little bit extra it's pretty versatile. Only problem is the weight the 2000 is a little heavy. 1 other advantage is you can probably let all your friends tap off of it and it'll save the world of all those lousy green house gasses that the IC guys are pushin out all the time.
