Richard,

I've updated mine to 2.11 yesterday.  I like it better than the 1.55.  New beta has better adjustment on PWM and timing although I don't like to use Beta.
I haven't tried to go back yet.  Got tired with 1.55.
Also, do you see a date stamp on your ESC?  I thought I was told the ESC should have a small sticker with manufacturing date.  Mine didn't even have any.

If we can't go back, all we can do is to hope for better beta version in the near future.
