Yes, there is a software that works with it that allows the Cricut to
connect to a PC to cut from the PC.

A reasonably priced piece of equipment is the Cricut Expressions for
cutting pre-programmed graphics of all sorts, in sticky backed vinyl,
mylar, masking stock, etc. Wal Mart carries it for around 300$. The
problem is that it has its own software which isn't as suitable for
what we need, except for lettering (different sizes and fonts come
standard)
Has anyone been able to adapt this thing to accept instructions from a
PC? If yes, then it could cut any CAD drawings, shapes, patterns one
could come up with. It could make paint masking a cinch
Been unable to get in touch with the company that makes it to find out
if it can. A laser cutting head would also be great.
