Vicente, first you need to get the nomenclature right-- the first tool you mentioned is an 'adjuster' which is normally used to break the most expensive part fairly close to the item you are trying to adjust. The second item you mentioned is a 'heat transfer device' commonly used at pattern contests to transfer the heat from a propane torch used for bearing removal from an engine--to the palm of one's hand. I am fairly expert at both of those uses. The pic depicts this mag strip has a little grunt.
I have used both items on retracts in days past.
