Larry -
I couldn't agree more with Anthony. For whatever reason this happened, it's a terrible waste of life and you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Larry,
My wife and I have been following this very closely and have included you and your family in our prayers since we first heard about this terrible tragedy.

I hate the feel of where this is going. When Margretta and I discussed it we could very easily identify with how the media and/or the "authorities" can tend to vilify people or sway popular opinion to justify wrongdoing. I am not saying that this is what did or did not happen, but either way it is a terrible tragedy and senseless waste of life.

Our most heartfelt and sincere condolences go out to you and your family. We would appreciate if you would keep us posted and let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Sincerely
Anthony "Tony" Abdullah

Wow Marty, on the air, We are so touched and blessed with all the responses
from this list.

Some of you may have found or read news articles about my brother and maybe
unsure of the connection. The shooter is a Federal Corrections Officer at
Butner FCC (Prison), NC. The initial press release didn't show my brother in
a good light. I have been in touch with one of the news agencies and the
updates are now starting to paint the correct picture of who my brother
really is. The investigation is extremely tight lipped. Nobody is talking to
the press, the police and SBI are not providing details, and I sense the
media and my family are getting frustrated. The shooter has claimed self
defense, and is now walking the streets.

The story is starting to span out of Creedmoor / Durham, NC. It appears this
might get more attention than our family desires now that the shooter has
been identified as an Off Duty Federal Corrections Officer at Butner FCC.

Some of you have asked me for updates. However, out of respect for the
discussion group members this will be my last update on the open list. If
anybody wishes to stay informed, send me your e-mail and let me know and I
will make a private list.

I will be making the trip to Durham, NC arriving Wednesday late after-noon.

We will have the funeral service for my brother, Ronald "Dewey" Anderson, on
Saturday (Jan 2nd) at 2pm, Eakes Funeral Home, 834 North Main Street,
Creedmoor, NC 27522.

Thank you all for your prayers and lifting thoughts. My words cannot express
how much they mean to us.

Larry and Lisa Diamond

We prayed for you and the family at Mass and on the

So sad ...
