I'll leave it to others to espouse the virtues of it, other than to say it's a solid unit, good programming and ball bearing gimbals.

Don't overlook the soon-to-be-released (late September) Futaba 8FGA 8-
Channel 2.4GHz FASST transmitter w/ Air R6008HS receiver (FUTK8000).
It might not be "enough radio" for an experienced R/C aerobatics
pilot, but it will be great for an up-and-coming R/C aerobatics pilot
who's looking to upgrade their equipment. Tower Hobbies says they
will sell it for $449.99.
