Earl,

Congrats on your F3A win. Also congrats to Don in Masters and the other
winners in the lower classes.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Gulf Coast Pattern Championship

A big thank you to George Miller and the LARKS for putting
on the Gulf Coast Pattern Championship this past weekend. This is a
well run
meet with good flying, great food, and comradery. For those not aware,
the LARKS
field is an excellent flying facility for pattern with all the
desirable
amenities (shade, parking, tables, modern restrooms, electricity).
There is a
little less shade after the hurricanes - but the club had everything
cleaned up
and ready to go. Very nice plaques were awarded and George even is
having
winners names engraved on their plaque if they wish. Moving this
event from the heat of August to the comfort of October makes this a
"must attend" meet for the gulf coast folks. Put this one on your list
for next
year!
