I wonder if I made a few of them, if folks would buy the thicker washer at
$5.00ea, plus shipping?

Are you using two copper gaskets between the head and the NMP Header?

Not sure if it's the same as the 140DZ problem.I needed to run three washers
or it would leak by. One on the inside of the NMP Header and two on the
outside. I also had problems with the Header vibrating off.

I ended up at Lowes and bout a 4 foot copper pipe and a pipe cutter and made
my washer. It was a bit thicker, worked perfect and hasn't vibrated off
since in about 50 flights. I keep checking after every flight...still good
to go.

A side note, I'm not using a header brace. The one I had didn't fit and
since it still hasn't vibrated off with the thicker washer, I didn't worry
about putting the brace on.

I have a bad fuel/exhaust leak on my YS 1.60. It started just before my NMP
header split but continued after replacing with
a Hatori header and 821 muffler. I'm getting pretty desperate trying to
find it. I have replaced all the fuel lines. I have snugged up
the flange that screws in to the head. I have retightened the header
flange. I have checked the valve cover gasket. I have checked
the head bolts but it still leaks. I consider the leak bad enough that if I
don't get it fixed by tomorrow I will have to miss my second contest in a
row because of it. It really soaks the inside of the engine compartment on
the left (exhause) side. Bad enough that when I run my finger down the
firewall it is wet with oil. The engine mount beams on the bottom sides are
almost dripping.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
