Jay, I've been using a 2D version of TurboCad for all my design work over the past 7-8 yrs. I don't draw anything in 3D currently.
I have Autocad at work and access to a few other CAD suites, and TurboCad has been the most intuitive for me. I like its snap functionality and its zoom functionality.
