It is possible to adjust the geometry so the cables will actually go tighter at the servo is deflected. Simply move the attachment points on the servo arm rearward, so they are slightly behind the center axis.

:-) IMHO, empirical data trumps math and theory. According to the math, bumble-bees can't fly.
