Krishlan,
Thanks for the info. I found out that I had a bad solder joint on the adapter I made for the Deans connector.
The plane has come quite a ways since the last photo updates. Except for half of one wing mine is almost completely covered and the fuse is primed. Still a ton of work to do but it is coming along.

I've had a few problems with my 2 cell receiver lipo's similar to what you explain I think. I use Astro chargers, always with a balancer. It goes into what's called BtFault. I have found that I need to discharge the pack and charge it back up to get it to take a charge. This is with A Thunder Power 1320(over and over) and a Flight Power 800(Once). The 1320 does and almost never takes a full charge without going into the fault and it's only got maybe 10 cycles on it.
Maybe try to discharge if your charger has the option to take it down to the appropriate level, then charge it back up. Maybe you got a bad pack. I'm thinking this is the case with my Tp pack, the Fp now seems fine.

Look for your pic on the cover of the Kfactor this month Anthony!!

Good luck

  Chris

I hav ea real stumper and hope someone can help.

I have a brand new Zippy 2100 Mah lipo pack (3s1p 11.1V) for the motor of an electric plane. The Deans connector and balance plug came soldered on the shrink wrapped pack. The problem is I can NOT charge it Every time I hook the battery to my E-Station BC-6 charger I get an alarm and a message that says "connection break". I have checked and double checked the connections and the settings and nothing seems to help. Every time it's the same, I hold down the start button, the charger checks the pack then goes into connection break mode.

What I have checked and tried:
  Polarity is correct
Tried charging at lower and higher rates with exactly the same results
Plugged it into the plane an all servos and the motor work
Tried charging a similar pack (different brand) on the same settings and it works
In all cases I am charging through the Deans connector

I don't know what else to try. if anyone has a suggestion I would love to hear it.

  Thanks
  Anthony
