Thanks to everyone that offered advice.I found the cause of my frustrations. I decided to check the poser out cables that lead from the charger itself to the battery. As it turns out I did a crappy job of soldering the Deans connector on and lost my connection there. When I changed the lead out lines the charger started working immediately!!!!
Thanks again
Anthony

Are you trying to use the "balance" charge on the BC-6 without having the balance plug connected?

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Tough E-Charging ? Please help!
I hav ea real stumper and hope someone can help.
I have a brand new Zippy 2100 Mah lipo pack (3s1p 11.1V) for the motor of an electric plane. The Deans connector and balance plug came soldered on the shrink wrapped pack. The problem is I can NOT charge it Every time I hook the battery to my E-Station BC-6 charger I get an alarm and a message that says "connection break". I have checked and double checked the connections and the settings and nothing seems to help. Every time it's the same, I hold down the start button, the charger checks the pack then goes into connection break mode.
What I have checked and tried:
Polarity is correct
Tried charging at lower and higher rates with exactly the same results
Plugged it into the plane an all servos and the motor work
Tried charging a similar pack (different brand) on the same settings and it works
In all cases I am charging through the Deans connector
I don't know what else to try. if anyone has a suggestion I would love to hear it.
Thanks
Anthony
