An easy way to measure thrust line relative to wing is to bend an L shaped piece out of aluminum strap to attach to the motor. The plane does not need to be level to measure. Use a Sullivan and/or a Robart meter to measure the wing incidence, then "sit" on top of the prop bracket and measure the down thrust.

The horizontal leg on the prop bracket only needs to be 4 to 6" long for the meter to sit on. The meter can be held in place with a rubber band if needed.

Brilliant ! LOL Nat
