Thanks for the information Mike. I plan to make it to the contest on the
28th.

Claude they are really heavy and clunky. I had a wire break on one of mine
2 years ago probably from vibration. I got lucky that it happened on the
ground. So I'd say there are a lot better ones on the market.

I've seen guys running the new Castle Creations adjustable regulators with
great success. They are a bargain at $20. I'm using the Jaccio's 5.7 now and
they are flawless. Mike

Is there an opinion about Mpi Regulators from Maxx Products? I have a couple
of them that I have never used. Regulators make me a little nervous because
it is another thing in the system that could go bad.

Jaccio regulators have always worked well for me and I like to support Mr.
Oddino. Dwayne

Any of the above will work fine.

I personally like the 5.1V regs from Jaccio. But either radio system
will not care on any of the 3 choices you have there. Some of the Futaba
servos are rated as 4.8V only so this may affect your decision. But if
you choose JR servos they can run unregulated 5cell packs just fine. SO
any of the voltage choices are good on JR servos.

Which voltage regulator (Jaccio) should be used with a 5 cell 6 volt
receiver pack? There are three sizes: 5.1, 5.7, and 6.0 volt

Thanks,
Jerry
