[NSRCA-discussion] Which servo?

A light just went off for me .............( I think). It occurred to me that we spend $130 for a servo with a .06 second transit time and then we program in 60 % expo. Somehow this seems counter productive. I'm wondering if senility is rearing it's ugly head again.
For some unexplainable reason this doesn't induce me to go out and buy slow servos. I know I'm going stark-raving mad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a good selection, I personally use those same servos but I like the DS8417 in the elevator, very good if you like a fast elevator servo.

Hi guys;
I just purchased my first full sized used pattern plane. After starting my radio installation, I found that the servos are in various states of wearing out. I want to replace all servos on control surfaces. From studying the JR list of servos, it looks like DS8411SA is a good choice for rudder and DS9411SA on elevator and ailerons. Do you agree?
I have been flying an Oxalys 50 and truly love that little plane but am anxious to try the real deal.
