Great story. That could have been a VERY expensive oversight. At this point that little $60.00 battery checker has more than paid for itself.
   
  I don't get the "begging and pleading" with the wife part though. What's up with that? One guy I know actually told his wife: "Since I can only have one wife, I'm going to buy as many airplanes as I want!" It worked for him. YMMV :)
