Not by a long shot.
The TWA pilot was Harvey G. "Hoot" Gibson.
The astronaut was Robert Lee "Hoot" Gibson.

The NY Times review of the CBS documentary,
"The Plane That Fell from the Sky" says that
HG Gibson moved to Costa Rica.
This unfortunate landing of a Grumman Goose took
place in Costa Rica. A Hoot Gibson is alleged
to have been at the controls.

My guess is "no," but I don't have any evidence other
