I'm working on that myself!!!

Transtar has a urethane white called euro something. 

House of Kolor also has a white urethane primer. 

I also have an epoxy based primer. I am going to try them all and look for light and sandable....

    The PPG paint doe not really have a shelf life, and I have used some that was several years old with no problems.  The items that DO have a life are the activator  (DUs) and to some extent the reducers (DTs)  The test for the activator is if it is still clear and fluid, us it.  If it has yellowed and/or gelled, toss it!  The reducers should really last a long time, provided they are kept air-tight.

    I have some PPG paint I bought from my local PPG paint store a couple of years ago.  Before using it, I wonder if there's a recommended "use by" on any of the paint elements.
