I got this e-mail from the IMAC group. I think this pretty much answer the question.

The receiver pulls from the stronger battery at lower load levels and both when under high current draw situations. If one battery fails it will just continue to pull off the second battery. There is a light for each battery. If the light goes out you have lost power to that one plug. Very easy to see.

Thanks for the information. I have another question. Do you know how this receiver handle if one battery fails? I assume that it will shut down the bad battery automatically if detects that one battery fails and leaves the other providing power to the plane.

I have two of these. One is currently being installed in a 52% Edge 540. I have not been able to fly the unit as of yet but on the bench and in the shop it works great. The 16awg wire straight out the receiver into the batteries with the EC3 plugs is great.

Hello all,
Just would like to know opinions on this product. Any one using it? I like the idea of the two batteries input and the soft switch.
