I almost let my AMA membership lapse for my daughters and me.
The good thing is it's pretty painless to renew online and I just printed a
"temporary receipt"  that serves as official proof of membership until our cards
arrive.
Whew!
Man, I wish I had signed up for life membership back in '81 when I first joined.
Oh well...
