[NSRCA-discussion] Controller... what would you want in yours???

I'm gonna find out if we can put 5 curves in the curve function. Problem is each motor will be different, even in the same brands. I
have different curves (none more than 15% curve) to make them all feel the same. I'll have to find out how 'smart' I can have a
controller made. Not sure I see that happening...

Better throttle curve control. Currently we have linear and expo, but
neither work that great in my opinion (at least on my Hacker 90
controllers). It seems like often I move my throttle one or two clicks and
the plane surges (especially with really strong batteries). I know it's
possible to adjust this at the transmitter, but given different battery
strengths (remaining charge, strength of pack, etc.) that doesn't do the
trick since one curve will work good at the beginning of the flight, while
battery is peaked, and another is needed later (or with an older battery).
The controller needs to moderate that spike and smooth the transition
through the entire curve regardless of the battery.
You asked for suggestions. Not sure if or how easy this will be to
accomplish. :-)

Hi all,
We (SA) are looking to have a new controllers with our new motors and would
like some feed back from pilots as to what you would
like to see included in the software in a controller.
Some things off the top of my head are:
Fixed or Auto end-point options
F3A Brake
Timing adjustable by 1-degree increments
3 or 4 timing options
Thermal and low voltage cut-offs
Pro-Box for at the field set-ups
If you have any other options that you would like to see, please let me
know.

Jason
