  That's what I have found also... no packs at Wally Mart hear in Texas.

    Use 2-cell A123 packs.  No regulator needed. . . You can get the cells from a Black & Decker VPX battery packs for about $20 at Wal-Mart. . .

          The neatest and best system is by Power Box which makes digital

          switches with built in regulators.....simple and trouble free. I believe

          they make one that is pre made for double batteries. I have the single

          battery switch in my pattern plane and like it very much. The switches 

          cannot be turned on or off by accident. I first saw them in CPLR's

          pattern ship. Sold by Chief Aircraft and a couple of other places I can't

          recall at the moment.
