[NSRCA-discussion] St Louis Phantom Flyers contest

 The contest was a blast. The weather in St Louis in August is not for the faint of heart. Dude that heat and humitity can be brutal!!!! The Go carts on Saturday night and a cool little bar across the street from the carts are the best thing along with the huge Saturday night spread they put out. The field is as good as you get anywhere. 
 For those that have never attended the contest you need to be there next year.
 D5 has a real great group of guys and this is one of the only contests of the year that allows the southern end of the District to meet the Northern side. For both of us it's a bit of a cultural shock but I think we work it out pretty well. When you have a District that goes from the International Fall Minnesota to the end of Kansas your talking some distance.

Thanks to all the Phantom Flyers for a great contest this weekend!
With lots of help from the club members Bill and Ed did their usual great job.
St Louis is one of my favorite contests since it was one of the three I flew my first year
back year before last PLUS for the second year in a row I had my youngest daughter with 
me as my caller!
It's just as she said when I asked her what was her favorite part..."The company and conversation, I really like your friends"!
