[NSRCA-discussion] D4 Finals

Georgie - where the F3A committee taketh away in P09, they giveth back
in F09. F09 is a circus act for sure. I think they replaced straight
lines with some integrated roll stuff - the whole sequence :-) .

Thanks,

Jim W.

Speaking of Advanced. I've been out the last couple of times practicing
the new F3A sequence and my reaction has basically been "ARE YOU
KIDDING?" What the heck were they thinking when they came up with this
sequence?????????? My only conclusion is that they must have felt a
strong compulsion to induce Masters guys to move up. This sequence is
far too easy for F3A.

I haven't really looked at the current Master's schedule, but it's got
to be tougher than this thing. I don't think there's anyone currently
flying Advanced that also wouldn't find it pretty simple, as well as any
accomplished Intermediate pilot.

I think I'm going to check out the F sequence and maybe practice that
and maybe tack on the 2 loops and the 3 rolls just to initiate some kind
of challenge.

Boy, talk about dumbing down...................Wow !

G.

P.S. I'm stirring here a little guys.

I am terribly sorry I missed it! Did you fly your BM2 Dennis?

I hope you stay in Advanced at least one more year. I will be
retooled and ready to collect your points all season long in 2008. Oh
yeah, I will mail your box back to you.

way up there. The steak was awesome. Oh yeah pretty good flying in the
pattern contest also

Had a great time. We had 33 flyers with a nice
attendance from the from the Mike Hester contingency less Dean. The
weather sure was better than last year.

Thanks to the Flying Cardinals member for
hosting us. Mark, Bob and Amy thanks for all your hard work.

It was a real treat to see Andrew fly. He's
pure talent and a nice guy too which is a rare combination. Great to
meet Geoff Combs. He flew with almost no practice and its clear why he
used to be the top flyer in the midwest and he still has the skills to
be a threat. To bad he didn't place well due to engine problems. All in
all a great way to end our pattern season up here.
