According to Krysta,the antenna for the 9C just retracts into its case.  I would guess other Futaba TX's would have the same feature.

  I have not removed my 72mhz antenna. Of course, I have not flown it yet. I'll have to review the instructions to see what they say. I can't imagine the antenna would have to be removed, just fully retracted.
