OK, I misunderstood what you had written at first. I don't have a single
case to check the 9Z in, but it does fit in the double case, even with it's
4" tall divider. It probably will not fit as it is in a single case without
some change to the foam.

Jason,
The module plugs into the back of the radio. It's just that the antenna
connectors are the things that causes un-necessaary caution.
I posted the pictures at RCU Pattern Forum
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6337454/tm.htm
I will try to add more picturs later when I finish adding foams (if I can
find thick enough foams) to the case.
I think Futaba module may need to change the entire foam to keep the radio
in. Doesn't it?

So you don't just plug it in to the back of the radio like a standard
module?

I just finished installing the module on the 9Z.
Who want the pictures? Couple of megabytes for all pictures.
I am not sure if I can make a couple of pictures small enough to be as
attachment in several messages.
Manual does not tell you how to install the module on 9Z, so I took pictures
of the installations in sequences. 18 pictures with some of them showing the
side views after the installation. You need to remove the antenna & the
connector from the module to put the radio back to 9Z case.
I may add some foams to the case to keep the backside of the radio higher
inside the case so that the connector on module doesn't touch the case.
Hope I can test fly tomorrow.
Ihncheol
