Georgie - its not too bad on rudder authority. The Aggressor and Abbra perform the negative loop with 4-point across the bottom without breaking a sweat. Although mentally it's a bit tough at first to "throttle-up" in the sort of negative 45 degree portion of the loop on knife-edge J. The knife-edge loop was a bit big. I have not tried yet the 1.5 positive snap from knife-edge, exit inverted yet.
Thanks,
Jim W.

Earl,
Thanks for the assist ! Boy there's some very interesting figures coming our way in these sequences. I was just starting to get a little comfortable with the rollers and now they're upping the ante ! When you have to execute a rolling element across the top of a looping segment, it's not too bad 'cause you've got a gravitational assist, but doing integrated stuff across the bottom is going to require a lot of side area and rudder authority equivalent to elephantine proportions.
While I was perusing the sequences, my wife heard me mutter "I like it", to which she responded, "YOU LIKE IT ?" , and I shot back, " Yeah, I like it when they tell me to do the impossible".
Thanks again Earl,
Georgie

Georgie et al
They are available on the FAI CIAM website, but not terribly easy to dig out. I've sent the files (and P/F-09) score sheets to Don Ramsey to post on the NSRCA website. And yes, the sequences for '08 are '09 (numbered in the year they will be flown in the WC).
Earl
PS: Georgie - I forwarded a copy of the note to Don with the file attachments.

I've been playing with a Quest II with a 120 FZ over the past season and have been relatively happy with it's performance, but most of the summer flight sessions have been quite warm in these parts and the engine has provided good power, enough to do P-07 no problems. However, due to the fact that I'm using all the power available, I've gotten into the habit of nailing the throttle on any vertical stuff. Well yesterday the temps just made it to 70 degrees and the old 120 thought it was brand new again and I actually had difficulty controlling the power. The thing was accelerating on verticals which was disconcerting to say the least. Maybe I need to create a Flight Mode for cold weather as I think I'm too old to become more accomplished at throttle management. Wheew !!!.............., if it ain't one thing, it's................
Oh,.......anybody know where I can download P-09, F-09 ???? We are going to be doing those next year, right ????????????
Thanks
Georgie
