I'm all about the Scotch and the beer... what's the rest for?

A 2002 Mercury Villager will carry two 2-meter airplanes side-by-side, with room for all the flight gear and luggage for a week at the Nats, not to mention coolers, beer, soft drinks and Scotch for the week. Been there, done that.

I know the feeling, Lance, I lucked out getting a Tahoe for dirt cheap... Hope it lasts a long time because anything smaller won't fit a 2m plane!

That's a hard tradeoff. I just hope my Expedition never needs replacing. I can't afford it since the price has almost doubled since I got mine.

        FYI - You can fit:

        3 2-meter airplanes

        2 foamies

        3 adults

        2 transmitters

        1 flight box

        1 tool box

        1 case of fuel

        1 10x10 canopy tent

        2 chairs

        2 suitcases

        1 cooler

        and

        1 12-pack of Bass Ale

in a Grand Caravan with Stow-N-Go. AND you'll still get about 24 Mpg on the highway. Now for the bad part: you'll have to deal with the "Soccer mom" jokes from your flying buddies... <LOL>
