I have seen some show up to a pattern contest in cars small enough to fit in
the trunk of my Harley with their gear. I choose the full size 8ft. box
pickup with canopy, which leaves room for a friend and his gear. On a
non-flying day, you can actually carry something in the back like two tons
of pellets.
This message all the way from San Diego where the wild fires are looming.

FYI - You can fit:
3 2-meter airplanes
2 foamies
3 adults
2 transmitters
1 flight box
1 tool box
1 case of fuel
1 10x10 canopy tent
2 chairs
2 suitcases
1 cooler
and
1 12-pack of Bass Ale
in a Grand Caravan with Stow-N-Go. AND you'll still get about 24 Mpg on the
highway. Now for the bad part: you'll have to deal with the "Soccer mom"
jokes from your flying buddies... <LOL>
