Stu,
You will need to remove the shrink tubing from the ESC and dry it out with a heat gun and it should be O.K. You can find appropriate size replacement shrink at electronic supply houses.

  You may be OK. Water (clean) causes minimal damage to electronic components. It's the contaminants that do the damage. Flush everything with distilled water.

  Couldn't make it out to the field today to fly in a cross wind :)



  So I hovered a couple of batteries with a shockflyer in the backyard.  Got a little too low over the pond and you can guess the rest.  I think the big koi grabbed it and pulled it in J



  All surfaces went to full throw.  I'll let it dry out and try it but I suspect the rx and esc are toast.  I think the motor and servos should survive J







  And I still maintain that a pattern plane yaws into the wind.
