[NSRCA-discussion] Epoxy Question

I will make an educated guess. You will end up with one ounce of cured epoxy. The reason is that the alcohol should evaporate away. I'm guessing that the epoxy would have to be spread thin (more surface for the alcohol to evaporate) and the cure time should be long enough for the evaporation to occur.

The question was one ounce, not one fluid ounce.

How much does one fluid ounce of what type of epoxy weigh?

Is there ANYONE on the list that’s not waiting for Gray’s reply to this with eager anticipation of voluminous wisdom, insight and experience?? I think not....

Ok, think about this, take 1 oz epoxy and thin with 1 oz alcohol (91%).? After curing how much do you think it weighs and tell me why.

Mike
