Nat, we use a roller and roll the resin on 0.5 carbon veil cut to the size of the foam. Flip it-roll again-and then make sure it looks sorta dry-just the veil filled. Use a 1/2 in. brush and put a VERY thin coat around the edges of the foam to hold the veil in place. Then put it (veil)on the foam-then the skin-do the other side the same and bag 'em. Very light -VERY strong, have never had a separation, and holds up well in mid-airs :)

To skin a foam core with contest grade balsa does anyone have a preferred way to determine when the amount of epoxy applied is adequate - using Easy Lam epoxy. I have been reluctant to use a squeegie, afraid of scoring the balsa. Would appreciate any comments. Nat
