Is the CG discussion over? I am new to this discussion and may be able to
offer some help.
While trimming my Option-120 I found a really neat web sight for calculating
CG location.
I don't know if this link will work here. You may need to enter it.

Enter the wing and stab dimensional information and the distance between
them in the calculator and a "Static Margin" value. The static margin value
sets the desired flight characteristics from mushy to twitchy. The stab area
and tail moment appear to have significant influence on CG location. As a
test I reduced the tail moment dimension 4" resulting in about 4% reduction
to the recommended CG location. I found it very interesting confirming
suspicions going back to the dawn of turnaround that, long tailed airplanes
were more tolerant of more rearward CG locations. I have found CG locations
with static margins between 10% and 15% to be comfortable limits. The
attached word document has the Option-120 dimensional info to test the
calculator.
