Well since you asked :-)

It's the E-Evolution from UltraRC with the stock landing gear!!
Motor Plett 30-10EVO
ESC Schultz 32.80KA (with brake)
Batteries FlightPower 5s2p 5000 Evo x2 for 10s ( not the "new" FP batteries)
1st prop tried 20X12 APC turned 6300rpm pulling 77amps putting out
2900watts. I flew for 6minutes and put 3500mah back in on charge
Next I will try the recommended prop(21x13) and a 22X12 or 22x10

8411SA on rudder
9411sa on each aileron
3421 in each stab
2s 800mah rx pack and a radiosouth 5.6vregulator

Estimated weight is 10#6ounces. I will get an actual RTF weight Thursday.

First 6 minute flight in a breeze went well. For my first flight I was
purposely nose heavy, will adjust. Rolls seem axial. Vertical seemed to pull
to canopy and KE did also -but that could be me, 1st flight nerves and all.
Stall was gentle with the left wing finally dropping(again hard to judge in
the wind)

The 20X12 is definetly NOT the right prop - had all the speed I want and
then some but too much speed variation(the motor wants a bigger prop) had
all the vertical I would want.

Landing was a non-event. I have to tweak the throttle curve -too much stick
movement to get rpm response, but again 1st flight on my 1st electric -I had
no clue how to set it up. I have read Chad Northeast's recommendations BUT
he's an FU guy and I'm JR guy. :-)

I went home with a big grin on my face. I'm off tomorrow and I can't wait!!

Eddie

Ooops sorry guys -that was supposed to go direct -not to the list.

I really didn't want to talk about my "new" electric 2-meter plane on the
list. NO !! really I didn't!! :-)

Matt
I only got 1 flight in yesterday before it got dark.
But it was N-I-C-E !! 6 minute flight on 3500mah so I should be able to fly
8 to 10 minutes. Have several props to try and need to dial in the throttle
curve but it's getting' there.

3 clicks of up & 2or3 clicks of left and it was hands off. Axial rolls and I
think knife edge was as straight as I can fly it. Will have to let Nat test
that for me -it may be going to the top in KE slightly -too early to tell.

I have 3 battery packs but I'm waiting on some connectors for the 3rd pack
-I had to steal 2 from it to make up my wattmeter connections. First run
with the 20x12 pulled 77amps at 6300rpm. I'm anxiouos to see what the 21x13
does.

BTW cleanup afterwards, I didn't get any color on my rag, or anything else
for that matter !!! <VBG> OH That's right I didn't use a rag -my
mistake :-)
