Try the 18.1x10 regular, not wide.  It will turn about 7800 to 8000 but will pull a nice constant speed.  Beware, tho, that I have found others thinking the 1.4 was running fine when in fact it was just running at sub par performance.

  I'm currently running a 17x12W on my 1.40DZ but I'm not getting the vertical performance I would like. I was wondering what prop size I should try? I've considered an 18x10. Any thoughts?
