Best stuff I've used for hinge seal is Johnson & Johnson "Blenderm"
surgical tape.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Hinge Seals
I have a new ARF that says to seal the control surface gaps with hinge
sealing tape.
What is "hinge sealing tape"? (I have some foamie hinge tape - is this OK?)
What is the technique for doing this? Do you seal both sides?
Is it necessary?
