Thanks Joe, I would never have tried that. Sounds like you and I had similar
advanced set-ups. I too increased elevator travel (about 20 deg) and only
used high rate for spin entry.

In my case, I found I had to reduce the amount of throw some and push my CG
a little further forward to reduce sensitivity. Of course, I now flip
switches for both spins and snaps. In the previous sequence I was able to
get away with more throw and more aft CG and only change elevator rate for
spin entry. Everyone has there own solution. This is what worked best for
me. Low rate elevator about 13 degrees with 30% expo.
