[NSRCA-discussion] NASCAR at Michigan IR

Things are getting a little intense, so how about a "help" question?
I am going to the race at Michigan in August, and do not have a clue about what motel chains are good, and where to lite for three days. The track has a two page list, with a lot of local names.
Any of you up in that neck of the woods have some suggestions. 
Got tickets-budgeting for gas, now need a place to sleep that is OK.
