Steve,

You can add TX to that list now...guys its worth the trip.  Last year the
weather was HORRIBLE...and we still had 30+ AT DINNER on Friday night.  I
think we'd have easily had 40 + pilots.  I'm looking forward to it,

Very true Mike and I would like to extend an invitaion to all, we fly at AMA

Site 3 and a great bunch to fly with, to me the Shootout and the D4 
Championships are the highlights of our flying season, thanks in part to the

D5 guys always showing up makes for a much better contest, and as you can 
see always some good rivalry. We have had people come for as far away as NJ 
and Nebraska.
Which makes this a must attend regional contest not just another local 
contest. Can't remember for sure but think we had 40+ a couple of years ago.

  You don't have to be a D4 or a D5 member to compete.
It's an open contest to all. So if you want a major
league tune up for the Nats and get exposure to the
people who will be judging you than come on out.
Camping is available and cheap!!!!! Weather is looking
