Ive used an auto fuel pressure guage from Sears, connected with a tee in fuel line.
As I recall, YS about 6 lbs, muffler or taped pipe pressure around 1 to 2 lbs.

I used a pressure gauge off a Snap-On coolant tester. If I remember right it is a 20 or 25 psi gauge and cost under $20 for the replacement gauge. Like everybody else I used a tee setup in the line I wanted to check pressures on.

YS 4 strokes pressurize the tank to about 9psi.
I measured the tank pressure with a T and a meter.
So, I guess this means that the fuel feed line is 9psi as well.

Never tried this but I read about it and meant to try. Just tee the line going to the carb and run a piece of fuel line up a stick, wall or what ever with the top of the line left open, start engine and see how far up the line it goes. This won't give a specific PSI measurement but it sounds like a good way to get a reference to analyze or adjust with.

Does anyone know what the nominal fuel line pressures are in .45 - 1.60 size engines is? Is there a known source for a measuring gauge?
