Just back from the Nats, I have to inform those who have never been exposed
to QQ, that this guy is the most unassuming and gracious individual,
especially in light of his accomplishments, that I have ever had the pleasure
of meeting. If you could have just seen the genuine joy and happiness he
displayed for the success of his fellow competitors at the awards
ceremonies, you would have shared my feelings of "What a Guy!!!!!"
I even saw him collecting everyone's discarded tableware after the Barbecue
to take to the trash can. This is a "World Champion!!!!!!" and I might add a
"World Class" human being.
And his reaction to having "His" airplane displayed in the museum along with
the "Greats" of all time, well, I gotta tell ya, it takes a real man to cry.
There have been times when I have let him know that I was disappointed with
his performance on certain rounds of a competition, but never disappointed
with his character.I have the highest regard and admiration for "The Man"
possible. Again, "What a Guy!!!!!"
G.
