Taking nothing away from Somenzini's generous gift of his airplane to the AMA Museum, just to keep the record straight, the Fred Dunn designed Astro Hog low wing airplane, won in 1957, 58, and 59.
Not only was it piloted by the same person, (Bob Dunham, owner of Orbit Electronics) it was the exact same airframe/engine combination.  (K & B .45 Green Head.)  A truly great combination, for it's time.  I can still remember it plainly: White, with lime green and a yellow trim.  Pretty airplane.
