You can also mix denatured alcohol and talcum powder into a wet paste and brush that into the wood. You let it dry, scrape it away and repeat if you need to.

    Can't seem to find this product any more.  I need something that works just like it if anyone on this list has some tips.  I need something to spray on that turns to a powder as it absorbs oils.  Got any suggestions?
