Colin,

It sounds like you may not be propped correctly. Try the 18.1x10 or the Dave re-pitched 15.75x10 3 blade on the OS. You will have very manageable speed and excellent brakes on downlines. The Temptation tends to be slippery so this is one way to control the slipperiness

What patterns are you flying?

?

I have the same set-up in a Temptation and am constantly struggling with the speed control in Masters. That's why I'm considering the YS160 for the integral. There is more than enough power but it's alot of work keeping the speed down and the airplane close.

I just got an Integral. How did you get to 10lb 8oz? I thought these things were coming out at under 10lb for 2-stroke engines/OS?

I'm still deliberating about going to YS for this plane but after the glowing report about 9.5lb performane I am tempted to stick to the reliable OS.

Colin, without the additional weight on the fire wall the integral finished at 9 lb 10 oz

I added 9 oz of lead on the fire wall to bring the CG forward to my taste. I felt I was chasing the model instead of flying it? I added heavier silicone couplers because the airflow through the tunnel was not enough to keep the silicone cool enough. Teflon couplers would make it much lighter. I added baffles around the engine to keep the cylinder head cooler. I?am running an OS 1.40 and an Aeroslave pipe. Even with the extra weight I have plenty of power to spare. I do suggest trying to use a push rod system for the elevator to get the weight out of the Stab. If I move the servos out of the Stab I?will not need the extra 9 oz.

?

It is a very nice model and I am very happy with it overall. I am not happy with the servos in the stab.

?

Carl
