  Chris,

Probably one of the Perry Pumps will work in the OS 2.00. It will be very
interesting if someone out there do the experiment. Clearly, the Perry Pump
has been very reliable using the OS 160.

How the fuel is pumped in the OS 2.00 FS-FI?

Tommy that is good to hear. Like Chris says a lot of people have the
money, and although I don’t have that kind of hobby money to spend, I DO
like to hear the specs, performance, reliability issues.

Has anyone tried the non-efi version in a 2m bird….? Didn’t Tower have
the non-efi for around 489 a few weeks ago?

Although the OS 2.00 is expensive Ron Barr here in district 6 has one

      Dang, Chris -
You mean I wasted all that $$ on the newest chrome plated glo-plugs,
hottest
new high -precision wing adjusters and slickest newest shiniest
low-drag
      paint???

All that on my brandy-new custom built plane (when it finally
arrives!)
      won't improve my scores?????

You mean I should spend the time practicing?
With other Pattern guys or trusted coaches???
-- And listen to them when they tell me all the stuff I didn't get
right?

      AND THEN PRACTICE SOME MORE?????!?!?!?

Rats - I wonder if I can pull all that fancy stuff off the plane and
go
trade it for some cases of practice fuel....

      Great post! Thanks!
      See you in Muncie!

Matt, I think you are right. I can't imagine this getting too many
takers.

(Next is general rant and not aimed at all toward you Matt)
My bigger issue is why do some people on this list just bash stuff
because it is expensive? If you think it is too much just don't buy
one. We ALL know that spending money will not make you a better flyer
by itself. But some people might like to buy the best stuff because
this is a HOBBY and they like playing with nice toys. Let it go guys.
Tiger Woods does not cringe in fear because a regular guy buys the
newest $1000 driver, nor will the OS 200 make an average flyer great.
Money is not a requirement for success. Practice and practice and
practice is the key. Please let the snide comments about the cost of
stuff go.! If it is too much for you to spend on a toy motor, don't
buy
one. I won't spend that much, but someone else will be happy to and I
say that's great because this is a HOBBY and he/she is doing what
makes
them happy. An $1800 motor will not put the average guy in the winners
circle nor will it ever be a requirement to compete on a high level.
We
      all know that.
