Peter you should try the fuel as is first. You can't hurt the engine. You may need to filter it. It was reported by one of the engine gurus sometime back that our fuel ran stronger with a considerable amount of water present - I think up to 20%. You can keep us informed. Besides you may have trouble finding a low enough temperature to freeze it now that you have antifreeze in it <G>. Nat

I have 4 gallons of 30% nitro fuel which was mixed with bad Methanol (unknown at the time) the rest of the ingredients were fine.
I am assuming that moisture may have got the drum of methanol but I am not sure.
Is there anything I can do to recover this fuel for at least sport plane use or do I count my losses and throw it out?
