See, here's a perfect place for an experiement.... You need to go into the liquor store wearing your Zurichs... See if she asks you about
your age.... It might take several trips to be a viable study... besides, you can't have too much Scotch!!!

I've heard that if you wear a pair of Zurichs into a restaurant, they automatically give you the senior discount....
    Might be worth looking into....

When I buy Scotch at the liquor store, the old lady running the place asks me if I'm old enough. I thank her profusely for asking.

I know lots of guys that like the Zurichs.

      I do.

I however in not into the Birth Control Sunglass look.

That takes some explaining for the uninitiated. These sunglasses are so "geeky" that anyone wearing them should not expect to have a successful "encounter" with a member of the opposite sex.

I have found for me to be able to see contrast better the polarized glasses work the best for me. I have a set of NYX glasses I bought from a golf shop years ago and they have the changeable lens setup like Piedmont was selling a few years ago. They have two polarized lens options an amber and a dark gray. I use these two almost exclusively. I have everything from the orange to the pink(vermillion) to the mirror finish dark. To me the polarized work the best. I have been told they shouldn't but they seem to take the glare off and help define the contrast.

Not only that when I leave the flying field I can go out in public too and not look like the little old lady on her way back from the eye doctor getting those new 10,000 power specs to help her read the bingo card.

      Chauvinist!

Besides I don't think Jenny would like let me out of the house wearing anything like the Zurichs. Yes I have learned what many of you already knew. I have zero fashion sense and she gets to make those decisions for me. Some of us out there are not as lucky as I am I guess. <SMILE>

Ah yes, Jenny is Troy's fashion monitor.

I have gotten the looks of "you're not going to wear that are you? It has a Epoxy stains on it"

Don't worry about that if you're going to the flying field. Everyone you encounter will understand.

Now that I don't need prescription sunglasses (cataract fix) I'm looking at options. I've read where rose colored lenses are supposed to offer the best contrast. Any opinions, experiences, etc.?

I like the Zurich rose tinted, mirrored glasses for contrast.
